DRAWING AND PAINTING WORKSHOPS (recommended grades 6th and up) Students learn to “see” through a classical foundation of drawing. Using both a “sight size” and “comparative” approach, I coach each student through a series of drawings from pictures and still life. Emphasis is on correct proportion and modeling form. Students also explore various media including pencil, charcoal, pastel, pen and ink, watercolor, and acrylic paints. A rotating list of art related topics are introduced and class projects change from session to session. All materials are provided. Students are encouraged to bring a sketchbook for note taking and personal use.  (Students interested in oil painting should contact me for a separate list of supplies to be provided by the student.) min 6 / max 12
