Students learn to “see” through classical training. Using both a “sight size” and “comparative” approach, I coach each student through drawings / paintings from pictures and still life. Emphasis is on correct proportion and modeling form. Students provide their own preferred drawing tools (pencil, eraser, sharpener, charcoal, soft pastels, etc). Other materials including acrylic paints, watercolors, brushes, and all paper and canvas supports will be provided. Min 6 / Max 13. (Students interested in oil painting should contact me for a separate list of supplies to be provided by the student. Adults desiring an evening class are welcome to join the Teen / Adult Drawing & Painting class.
